Cookies and statistics

This site uses Google Analytics only if you accept it in the banner, to see how many people visit the pages and how they get here (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and the site works just the same.

If you accept, the cookies _ga and _ga_* are set, lasting up to 2 years, and Google Ireland Limited receives data about your use of the site and your IP address, which is used to estimate your approximate location and is not stored. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Google’s privacy policy for details.

Your choice is saved in your browser for 6 months, and you can change it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. The fonts are hosted on this server, so they send no data to Google or other third parties.

Server logs

Like any website, the server hosting it records technical data about visits (IP address, browser, page requested, date and time) for security reasons. These are kept only as long as necessary and are never used to profile anyone.

When you write to us

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we use your details only to reply and, if you book, to organise your stay (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Conversations are kept for 2 years after the last contact.

The data controller lives outside the European Union, in Rwanda, so messages may be read from there, always in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

When you stay

Italian law (Art. 109 TULPS) requires us to send guests’ details to the Imperia police headquarters through the Alloggiati Web portal within 24 hours of arrival. Booking records are kept for 10 years, as tax rules require.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to casadavite7@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
